- 1 kilo pata ng baboy or pork leg, chopped in big chunks
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup puso ng saging or dried banana flower
- peppercorns and salt to taste
My family enjoyed this dish tonight. They really loved the tender pork and the sweetness of it’s taste. I’m glad that I made their Sunday a feast
Directions:
1. In a pot, place the pork and pour 5 cups of water. Wait until it boils.
2. Add salt, peppercorns, soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar. Let it simmer until the pork becomes tender.
5. Just before you turn off the heat, put in the banana flower and let it mix the flavor with the dish.
